Part-Time Immigration Attorney (4–5 Years Experience) — Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Hours: 15–20/week • W-2 • $60/hour
Location: Glendale and/or Santa Monica office (Wednesdays & Fridays in-office) + remote flexibility
About the Role
Our top-rated Los Angeles–based crimmigration law firm is seeking a skilled Part-Time Immigration Attorney to support a growing caseload. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong removal defense experience, excellent writing skills, and a commitment to compassionate, client-centered representation.

Key Responsibilities
- Appear in immigration court and criminal court as needed
- Handle motions practice across:
- USCIS
- Immigration Court
- Board of Immigration Appeals
- Federal Court
- Criminal Court
- Prepare and review consular and USCIS forms and applications, including:
- Family-based petitions
- Humanitarian applications (e.g., VAWA, U visa, asylum, waivers, etc.)
- Employment-based applications (e.g., O-1B, EB-1A petitions, etc.)
- Perform legal research on advanced immigration and crimmigration issues
- Collaborate with the principal attorney on strategy, filings, and case preparation
- Communicate with clients professionally, clearly, and with empathy
Qualifications
- Active California Bar License (Required)
- JD from an accredited law school
- 4–5 years of immigration law experience, including removal defense
- Demonstrated experience drafting appellate briefs (BIA or similar)
- Strong motions practice across multiple venues
- Excellent research, writing, and time-management skills
- Criminal law experience preferred
- Spanish and/or Armenian language skills strong pluses
- Strong tech skills and comfort with cloud-based systems
